From the President
Dear Camp Family,
Today we celebrate the greatest event of our Christian
faith. That event is called Easter. While you will not see any Christian
reminders of the real Easter in the market place, you can rejoice in your
heart that the cross and grave are both empty and Jesus lives forever more!
Just listen to these words:
I SERVE A RISEN SAVIOR, HE'S IN THE WORLD TODAY; I KNOW THAT HE IS LIVING,
WHATEVER MEN MAY SAY; I SEE HIS HAND OF MERCY, I HEAR HIS VOICE OF CHEER,
AND JUST THE TIME I NEED HIM HE'S ALWAYS NEAR.
IN ALL THE WORLD AROUND ME I SEE HIS LOVING CARE, AND THO MY HEART GROWS
WEARY
I NEVER WILL DESPAIR; I KNOW THAT HE IS LEADING THRO' ALL THE STORMY BLAST,
THE DAY OF HIS APPEARING WILL COME AT LAST.
REJOICE, REJOICE, O CHRISTIAN, LIFT UP YOUR VOICE AND SING ETERNAL
HALLELUJAHS
TO JESUS CHRIST THE KING! THE HOPE OF ALL WHO SEEK HIM, THE HELP OF ALL WHO
FIND,
NONE OTHER IS SO LOVING, SO GOOD AND KIND.
CHORUS:
HE LIVES, HE LIVES, CHRIST JESUS LIVES TODAY! HE WALKS WITH ME AND TALKS
WITH ME
ALONG LIFE'S NARROW WAY. HE LIVES, HE LIVES, SALVATION TO IMPART!
YOU ASK ME HOW I KNOW HE LIVES: HE LIVES WITHIN MY HEART.
An old song...an up-to-date message...a living Savior! We have it all in
Him!
In that resurrection name,
-- El and Luanne Kelley

Sharing Corner
Dear Avon Park Camp Family,
Thank you so much for such a wonderful camp meeting. I can't remember a time when the Lord was so near. Thank you also for all of you who are praying for us. We received over 50 new prayer partners. What a blessing. We also appreciate those of you who are supporting us financially. We are blessed.
Your Missionaries,
-- Michael and Angela Kelley
Grace Abounding in the Groves
It was Friday night and the crowd gathered to find Sally and Kendall Andrews on the platform, drinking coffee and discussing dreams. The remainder of the service was a review of Avon Park Camp and its history, presented in a miscellany of genres. There were skits, poems, music and a live interview with First Lady Emeritus, Jean Rollings.
We learned how the camp began on land donated by Reverend John A. Taylor. We saw sketches of past presidents and their contributions to the work. We learned about early beginnings as White City Camp, so named for the white sand on the beach at Lake Isis. We reviewed our emphasis on missions that has increased over the years and expressed our thanks to our president, Eldred Kelley for his leadership.
Then Dave Randolph turned and the choir began to sing. The Church Triumphant rang across the tabernacle in a rousing finally. Praise God for His blessing on Avon Park Holiness Camp.

WOMEN'S AUXILIARY NEWS
MARCH 2010
March is still a busy month for us, when most are winding down. We had two projects for this month.
The annual Chat with a person of interest here on the campground, planned by Vice President Marilyn Brownrigg, featured Imogene James who spoke about the book mission she and her husband coordinate.
At the Women's Auxiliary annual meeting, the guest speaker, Diana Furr of Samaritan's Touch Care Center, told of the medical mission near Avon Park. Several were interested to see the mission, so Diana invited us for a tour on March 23.
It's not too late to pay your dues. Your $15 helps us meet our annual mission gift to a local mission. Send it to the camp % Nina Morrow, Treasurer, and the blessings will multiply.
-- Beverly Wilson, President
In Remembrance
We pause to remember Edna Abbott and Sylvia Stewart who passed away last year. Their names were missing from the Camp Meeting Memorial Service because of late receipt of the information. May God bless the friends and families of these two devoted women.
"So we fix our eyes on not what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal" (2 Corinthians 4:18 NIV).
