A Higher Ground - Quarterly eNews
Vol. I, No. 2 July 2009
From the President
Grace and Peace,
Dear Camp Family,
Summer is here in Florida! The weather is great, and we have had some rain which makes the grass very green. God has a way of using dry earth, to make a living picture.
Luanne and I have started our summer ministry schedule. Please pray for us as we speak, so we know God's perfect plan for each session. Our time in Phoenix was very rewarding, and we are home safely.
We would also ask you to continue praying for our future. Although we have a possibility of a ministry, we know nothing for sure, and want to hear God's voice in all this. During these days of uncertainty for us, we have experienced His perfect peace in the middle of life-storms. Pray that we do not miss a single word from our Father.
Dave and Dolores, Gary and Rosa, and Dick and Colleen, continue doing wonderful work for the Kingdom. Every time I see any one of them, I see encouraging smiles as they go about their work. The camp looks first class, and Luanne and I praise God for these people who make our work at APC possible.
Have a great summer in Jesus, and we hope we might be able to see some of you during our travels.
-- El and Luanne

From the Camp Treasurer
Greetings from Indiana!
Thank you for your faithful support of the camp through Continuing Shares and other donations. So far this year we are able to keep ahead of our bills. You are truly a blessing!
In these economic times it is difficult to know how to invest your money. If you would like a secure investment and a great quarterly return, I would be happy to give you a proposal from our Gift Annuity Program.
Just before we left Florida, we approved the sale of the fifth house during this camp season! That is great! We still have two available. Contact Dave Coller at the office if you would like more information.
Around the Campground
Work is always available. Contact the office if you will be in the area and would like to help!
Three new park models are completed. They really make the corner of Morrison and Kingdom Way look wonderful!

Lazarus was sick and dying, so Mary and Martha, believing in Jesus' healing power, sent for Him. Jesus delayed His visit and Lazarus died.
"You didn't come when we sent for you. You could have healed Lazarus if you came last week. Now he's dead!" --Martha had given up.
"What kind of guy can keep my brother from dying and doesn't show up?" --Mary put Jesus to the test and He proved who He was.
