From the PresidentDear Camp Family, Luanne and I greet you in the wonderful name of Jesus! We are having a wonderful summer of service, and enjoying being obedient to God's directions. We first went to Kokomo, Indiana where I preached a revival at the First Church of the Nazarene, where David Leeder is Senior Pastor. God was very faithful, and people sought help each night at the church altars. I praise Him for His anointing each service. From there, we went to Missouri, and had a delightful time with those APC people. It started in the Lake of the Ozarks with Warren and Delores Denton in their condo, and then they provided us three delightful nights in Branson. Thank you Warren and Delores! From there we went to St Charles, where Bob and Carolyn Kingsbury hosted a picnic for 44 friends of APC. The time with Bob and Carolyn was also a real blessing. The following night was with Dr. and Mrs. Norm Wilson in Noblesville, Indiana, and then on to Michigan for time with family. Please pray for us as we fly next to Butler, GA, where I will serve as one of the camp Evangelists along with Dr. Steven Manley. Then after family vacation, we drive to West Virginia to preach another camp meeting in Culodin. I am excited to be able to preach the Word wherever God opens doors. Pray for our strength. Please continue being in prayer for Verna Watson suffering from cancer. She is in the hospital in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan. Pray for strength for Bill. There are many others on the prayer list, so please refer to the ePrayer requests Patricia sends out periodically. She does such an excellent job in her many ministries. Unless things have changed since I left, we only have one house for sale on the grounds. Dick and Colleen Hochstetler are returning to Ohio and want to sell in Avon Park. Our hearts are very heavy to see them leave, but wish God's best for their future. Finally, pray for Gary and Rosa as well as Dave and Delores. They are hosting a camp meeting group at the camp this very week, and have at least one more such rental coming in the future. They do a great job. We love each of you, and pray for you every time God brings your face to our minds. -- El and Luanne Kelley Prayer OpportunitiesPlease pray for Verva Adam, Tom and Elaine Boring and their son Tom, Gary & Viola Case, Joanne Gamber, Eldred & Luanne Kelley, Elizabeth Korzinski, Jane Kunze, Ebby and Hank Rhodes, and Verna Watson. Sharing CornerDear Avon Park Camp Family, Our son Tom, is progressing nicely since his motorcycle accident. We are just praising the Lord his injuries weren't more serious. Husband, Tom, is recovering nicely from his shoulder surgery which turned out to be a little more extensive than thought. Seems a large spur tore the rotator cuff so his recovery time will be longer. Thanks so much for keeping them in prayer. God bless you and yours, -- Tom and Elaine Boring John Wesley College in High Point, NC, has recently been accredited to offer bachelor and master's degrees in business. (Yes! that's an MBA!) Emphasizing that this Methodist college is not just a training school for preachers and missionaries, but also a school for Christian leaders, Dr. Larry McCollough states, "We need to help our students understand that the Great Commission given by Jesus Christ demands that we represent our Lord not only in foreign villages, but also in the corporate board room, the inner city and everywhere in between." -- Information provided by
